  2. Research Data Management - Organizing, storing, and preserving research data
  3. Ethics Approval - Ethics approval process and human subjects research requirements
  4. Literature Management - Reference management tools (Zotero) and citation techniques
  5. Annotation & Corpus Tools - Tools for corpus linguistics and text annotation
  6. Preregistration - Preregistering research studies for transparency and reproducibility

Programming & Technical Skills (Winter 2025-26 Series)

  1. Coding in R - Basics - Introduction to R programming for research applications
  2. Online Experiments - Designing and implementing online experiments
  3. Archiving Session - Long-term data preservation, standards, and UoC repository usage
  4. Coding in Python/VSCode and LLMs - Python setup, core libraries, Git integration, and LLM-assisted coding
  5. Bayesian Regression Models - Bayesian regression in R with priors, checking, and interpretation
  6. Computational Reproducibility using R - Reproducible workflows with R Markdown/Quarto, renv, and pipelines
